Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), Local Scrubber Recycling system (LSR) and other water treatment systems to maintain maximum equipment uptime and reliability
  • Coordinate and liaise with contractors/vendors to implement corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) programs
  • Study, plan and implement engineering projects and engineering solutions including upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance
  • Support and enforce safety compliance and government regulations
  • Initiate, evaluate, plan, design and supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for relevant water systems
  • Propose, plan and implement water recycling projects to reduce overall water consumption whenever possible, to meet the long-term sustainability goals
  • Plan, design and lead Control Automation engineering projects including new construction, system upgrading and quality improvement
  • Attain environmental sustainability roadmap through green initiative. Improve water and waste recyclability rate by embarking towards new technology breakthrough
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement potential advanced technology on Water systems to improve electricity, waste or water reduction to align to Micron Environment Sustainability efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or any related field
  • Experience in Water Treatment Plant System will be useful
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other analytical tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • The capability to thrive in fast-paced environment, where adaptability and efficiency are important qualities
  • Having up to date technical knowledge and skills
