Key Responsibilities
- Work with industry partners to adopt technology portfolios through licensing, collaboration, and facilitating spin-off companies.
- Manage the development and protection of intellectual property and establish business strategies for commercializing competitive technologies.
- Build and strengthen technology assets and IP portfolio with scientists and I&E for commercial proliferation in the biomanufacturing sector.
- Engage with industry to develop key accounts and generate a licensing pipeline for successful tech transfer of A*STAR’s technologies.
- Lead industry collaboration discussions during meetings and anchor success stories narratives.
- Assist junior team members on account management, research collaboration/licensing deal structuring, monitoring, and costing.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the PharmBio industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and partner diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think ahead for planning and execution with a team.
- Proficiency in contractual terms application during negotiations with industry collaborations and internal stakeholders.
