Key Responsibilities

Requirements

  • A PhD in Chemical Biology is preferred. Applicants with a PhD in Biology, Chemistry, or related disciplines with relevant skill sets may also apply.
  • Candidates with background in immunology would be advantageous.
  • Strong expertise in wet lab research eg. mammalian cell culture, cellular assays (Western Blotting, co-immunoprecipitation, TURBO-ID), cell-based fluorescence imaging, molecular biology (CRISPR knockout screen) and bioanalytical techniques (ligand binding assays).
  • Expertise in the design, synthesis, purification and characterisation of chemical compounds or chemical probes would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Activity-Based Protein Profiling (ABPP), Affinity-Based Protein Profiling (AfBP), and chemoproteomics is a plus.
  • Strong passion for interdisciplinary research and exploring novel therapeutic approaches.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner with strong organization skills.
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced environment, with attention to details and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, including scientific writing, presentations, and project management.
