Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain cycle time metrics, reports, tools, enablers, and methodologies to enable accurate performance measurement and effective improvement of actions
  • Drive network standardization of metrics, measurement scope and definitions, methodologies, business processes, and modeling to ensure consistent adoption across backend manufacturing sites
  • Establish and support cycle time targets aligned with Micron Best in Class objectives; lead or support Tier 1 Cycle Time sub programs as a subject matter expert
  • Identify performance gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities using descriptive, predictive, and statistical analysis techniques, and translate findings into structured improvement projects
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of cycle time improvement initiatives aligned with strategic priorities, working with cross-site and cross-functional teams to ensure execution and results
  • Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and coaching to improve site level capability and maturity in cycle time management
  • Partner with Site and Central Operations & Engineering teams (e.g., ATCSP, ATTP, PDE, TSE, NPM, NPO) to gather, analyze, and interpret cycle time and operational excellence data
  • Facilitate best known method (BKM) sharing and lead regular cycle time performance review meetings with key stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering and related
  • At least 5 years of recent semiconductor experience with strong understanding of Backend (Assy, Test, Module/SSD) or Front-End manufacturing processes, including system and physical automation, equipment efficiency methodologies, NPI and HVM cycle time, capacity and labor planning, lean manufacturing, value stream mapping, and backend business processes and reporting structures
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, with solid understanding of statistics to support business and operational decisions
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python to analyze data, automate analysis, and support data-driven solutions will be an advantage
  • Foundational understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including AI agents, will be an advantage
  • A curious, analytical mindset and willingness to learn new tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross functional stakeholders
