Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present trade strategies by connecting market fundamentals with proprietary insights using advanced analytics and supply/demand models.
- Provide market forecasts on fundamentals and price to support the trading organization.
- Conduct economic analysis for opportunity evaluation and capture learnings from missed opportunities.
- Support derivatives trading through the analysis of new and existing derivative instrument usage.
- Act as a power-user of strategic trading tools, including data systems, bespoke analytical tools, Eikon, and SAP.
- Contribute to special projects, strategy studies, and market entries.
- Support Trading Management on ad-hoc business issues.
Requirements
- BS or BBA in engineering, mathematics, economics, finance, business (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an analysis field within trading shops, banks, or funds.
- Experience and knowledge of physical and paper markets in crude and products.
- Knowledge of derivatives, risk evaluation, and management techniques, or financial analysis.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and modeling skills demonstrated.
- Ability to forecast market changes and assess the impact of business decisions.
- Proven ability to make data-driven recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multinational and cross-functional teams.
