Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and facilitate worker engagement activities, and manage safe, open and approachable communication channels for the construction workforce to provide feedback.
- Build rapport and maintain regular communication with workers in a respectful, empathetic and culturally sensitive manner.
- Collect, analyse and synthesise workers' feedback related to safety, welfare, and living and working conditions to identify improvement opportunities.

- Verify effectiveness of follow‑up actions, including checking back with workers to confirm outcomes where appropriate.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as NGOs and government agencies to support outreach initiatives (e.g. welfare talks and engagement activities).
- Support the planning and execution of welfare initiatives and engagement events to enhance workers' wellbeing.
- Prepare reports, summaries and presentation materials on engagement outcomes, feedback trends and case status for management review.
- Perform other duties related to workforce engagement, welfare and community‑building as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline; background in administration, operations or contractor management is preferred.
- Prior experience managing a construction workforce or a large frontline workforce is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable engaging workers on‑site in an operational environment.
- Empathetic, patient and approachable, with a genuine interest in workforce wellbeing.
- Well‑organised and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple issues and stakeholders concurrently.
- Able to prepare reports and maintain proper documentation.
