Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Manage Multi-Discipline Engineering Team
- Technically lead the Multi-Discipline Engineering team focused on strategic and operational excellence
- Support building a skilled, strategic Engineering team for Mechanical, Electrical, I&C, and other subject areas
- Invest time in coaching, mentoring, and developing team members’ career paths
- Drive team engagement, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve daring goals
- Provide leadership on Global Facilities initiatives, ensuring transparency and line of sight for the Engineering team
- Assist the Director in building a coordinated strategic plan, driving innovation and ground-breaking initiatives
- Support network effort to implement, monitor, and drive continuous improvement for Micron’s strategic programs
- Identify, manage, and monitor key performance indicators for the department
- Set Facility Engineering goals based on Global Network priorities and facilities areas of focus
- Provide technical advice and support to overcome challenges in project planning & execution
Requirements
- Expert understanding of Semiconductor Facilities Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C System Engineering
- Experience in Engineering, Design, Construction, Operational, and Maintenance capabilities for semiconductor facilities
- Proven ability to lead and manage multi-discipline engineering teams
- Experience in building skilled, strategic engineering teams including recruitment, training, staffing, and retention
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and career development skills for team members
- Demonstrated ability to drive team engagement and inspire high performance
- Experience leading Global Facilities initiatives and strategic planning efforts
- Background in driving innovation and ground-breaking initiatives in facilities engineering
- Experience implementing, monitoring, and driving continuous improvement programs
- Ability to identify, manage, and monitor key performance indicators
- Experience setting facility engineering goals based on global network priorities
- Technical expertise in troubleshooting and overcoming project planning and execution challenges
- Proven track record leading large-scale Greenfield FAB Design and Construction projects in U.S. and Asia
- Experience supervising discipline-related activities for greenfield fab projects
- Ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery of construction projects
