Key Responsibilities
- Support safe material handling operations involving powered trucks, cranes, hoists, and wafer movement across fab and cleanroom areas
- Govern inspection, testing, and maintenance of material handling equipment per statutory regulations and site semiconductor standards
- Develop and implement safety training frameworks meeting WSH, ISO 45001, and SEMI standards
- Lead the site-wide sustainable Risk Management System as the SME and appointed Risk Management Champion
- Monitor RM performance through audits, inspections, incident reviews, and frontline feedback
- Own the PPE program including hazard-based selection, standards setting, and lifecycle management
- Lead the Incident Management Program including investigations, classifications of unsafe conditions, and corrective actions
- Drive timely review and updating of risk assessments following incidents or process modifications
Requirements
- Experience as a safety professional within a semiconductor, fab, or high-tech manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of MOM RM Regulations and statutory safety requirements
- Familiarity with ISO 45001, SEMI standards, and WSH frameworks
- Expertise in lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Competency in managing high-risk work activities and material handling safety
- Ability to develop and deliver targeted safety training for employees and contractors
- Experience with PPE lifecycle management and hazard-based selection
- Capability to serve as a Risk Management (RM) Champion for site-wide systems
