Key Responsibilities
- Collate and check grants documentation (proposals, reports, variation requests, fund requisitions) to facilitate proposal evaluation.
- Serve as secretariat for funding initiatives, including scheduling meetings, procurement, logistics, and minute-taking.
- Execute policies and processes related to the administration of the funding initiatives.
- Communicate funding initiative policies and processes clearly to public sector research performers.
- Liaise with grantees regarding pre-and post-award matters.
- Collate and prepare data for reporting to various stakeholders.
- Clean, maintain, and analyze project KPIs and other relevant data.
- Routinely review awarded grant progress to ensure KPIs, milestones, and budget utilization are on track.
Requirements
- Good tertiary degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in public sector policy, planning, or governance roles (for Manager/Senior Manager)
- Experience and/or keen interest in governance and policy, especially within the research & development sector
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Good writing skills
- Resourceful and independent work ethic
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
