Key Responsibilities

  • Design, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications for backend automation, backend manufacturing system, backend tracking system and backend planning and scheduling system
  • Conduct and participate in research, design, documentation, and modification of software specifications throughout the software development life cycle
  • Work in several areas of software development as part of a team or independently
  • Participate, collaborate and work with global counterparts or customers on issues, and support improvement and development efforts
  • Proactively engage with customers to establish key areas of strategic technology to leverage competitive advantage of IT to support business needs
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation and execute escalation processes as required
  • Responsible for system availability to support 24x7 Manufacturing/Engineering operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields—or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Java, Perl, Angular, HTML5 and SQL
  • Passion for creating innovative IT solutions to address critical business challenges
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to learn independently, stay current with emerging technologies, and continuously improve technical and professional skills
