Key Responsibilities

  • Development and management of the medical plan
  • Identify local data gaps, local studies protocol design, study planning (including budget), input to site selection and feasibility assessment, data dissemination strategy
  • Align the local medical plan with the local marketing and global medical plan, under supervision of Medical Director

  • Manage the integrity and accuracy of scientific and medical data communication both internally and externally for promotional and non-promotional purposes
  • Manage Medical Information activities in accordance with regional/ local model, referencing global standard responses
  • Develop a customer centricity culture, making sure promotional/ medical/ scientific communications address HCP needs and optimize patient benefit and safety while keeping a fair balance and compliance with regulations and SOPs
  • Provide early insights on new products and indications in close collaboration with the PDG group
  • Maintain regular contacts with top tier KOLs
  • Ensure that all activities towards external experts/ KOLs are harmonized across the affiliate

Requirements

  • A post-graduate scientific degree in medicine, genomics, biology, etc. A certified Doctor (MBBS, MD) is preferred
  • Work experience in commercial and medical roles
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to successfully navigate a complex organizational matrix
  • Ability to effectively manage extensive networks of internal and external contacts
  • Fluent in English
  • Deep understanding of local health-care system coupled with ability to understand and address opportunities/gaps for bringing healthcare solutions to clinical practice
  • A strong ethical mindset and good understanding of relevant compliance principles and regulations
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set coupled with a strong desire to transform healthcare for the benefit of patients
  • A wish to work with colleagues across the affiliate, taking ownership and not confined by organizational boundaries
  • Openness to explore transformational methods and to use new technologies to its full advantage
  • A customer centric mind-set and willingness to spend about 70% of time in the field
