Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate projects from planning to delivery, ensuring adherence to A*STAR's long-term space plans and achieving excellent financial, quality, and schedule outcomes.
  • Lead the consolidation of diverse space users' requirements and conduct technical feasibility analysis for all space projects to aid decision-making.
  • Manage construction projects to ensure defined scope, quality, budget, safety, and time objectives are met.
  • Ensure all space planning initiatives comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards across various locations.
  • Collaborate with facility teams, stakeholders, and landlords to align on objectives and ensure smooth implementation of space plans.
  • Identify opportunities through value engineering to introduce new technologies, aiming to reduce initial investments or maintenance costs.
  • Track and evaluate the performance of implemented space plans, gathering feedback for continuous improvement in space utilization.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in construction management and/or asset portfolio management.
  • Background in Civil & Structural Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and construction processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to deliver under tight timelines.
