Key Responsibilities
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
- Rebuilds engineering equipment as required
- May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
- Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system
- Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
- Respond to customer requests and prioritize customer requests accordingly
- Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines
Requirements
- Must be able to work 12 hours shift, including night shift
- Minimum Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
- Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
- High level of cooperation with good communication skills
- Highly driven individual, proactive and ability to multi-task
- Working experience in Semiconductor R&D equipment is preferred
