Key Responsibilities
- Execute R&D projects focused on applying machine learning and deep learning to large, real-world health datasets (EHRs, clinical text, genomic data).
- Develop AI solutions for precision screening, patient stratification, health outcome prediction, and biomarker identification.
- Translate novel AI technology solutions into clinical evaluation frameworks and healthcare implementations.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with experts in machine learning, public health, bioinformatics, and clinicians.
- Draft technical proposals and define project scopes for ambitious translational projects.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Biomedical/Health Informatics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or other Data Science intensive fields.
- 2-4 years post-PhD experience with a track record in applied health informatics projects.
- Strong computational background and demonstrated research expertise in at least two areas: Deep Learning/ML for healthcare, AI solutions for digital health, Large-scale biomedical data engineering, NLP/Text Mining, or Health Informatics.
- Proven track record with publications in leading digital health, data science, or applied machine learning venues.
- Keen intuition and experience working with large, complex real-world biomedical and health datasets.
- Strong programming abilities (e.g., Python, R, C/C++, Java).
- Deep knowledge of statistics, probability, modern machine learning, and deep learning concepts.
