Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end management of aerospace MRO technology projects from problem definition through development, validation and industrialisation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of researchers, engineers and industry partners to ensure timely project execution.
- Track project progress and manage risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
- Drive deployment of new MRO capabilities, including equipment, processes, and digital solutions.
- Translate industry operational needs into technology development roadmaps and implementation strategies.
- Oversee technology validation, readiness assessments and scale-up for shopfloor deployment.
- Support technology transfer into operational environments.
- Serve as the key interface between research teams and aerospace industry partners.
- Co-develop project scope, technical objectives, and success metrics with partners.
- Facilitate regular project reviews and governance meetings with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in Aerospace MRO or aviation engineering environment
- PMP certifications or equivalent will be advantageous
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and external industry stakeholders.
- Experience managing technology development projects from concept to industrial implementation.
- Good business acumen, driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
- Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to navigate technical and operational challenges.
