Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure adherence to established processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and address deviations promptly to maintain efficiency and product quality.
- Execute the production schedule based on the capacity heatmap and shipment requirements, coordinating workflow across shifts and workstations.
- Optimize resource allocation, including personnel and equipment utilization, to meet production targets.
- Ensure operators strictly follow Work Instructions (WIs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular line checks, walk the line, enforce quality control measures, and escalate non-conformities or product deviations to the Quality and Engineering teams.
- Drive operational efficiency on the floor by minimizing idle time, reducing rework, and optimizing material usage.
- Monitor consumables inventory and collaborate with Engineering/Planning to prevent stock-outs or excess waste.
- Closely manage the inventory of consumables (e.g., chemicals, operating supplies) on the production floor.
- Provide accurate usage feedback to the supply chain/planning team to improve forecasting accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ensure all shift logs, production reports, maintenance requests, and compliance documents are accurately completed and maintained.
- Report daily production status, bottlenecks, and equipment issues to the Production Manager.
