Key Responsibilities

  • Drive operational efficiency on the floor by minimizing idle time, reducing rework, and optimizing material usage.
  • Monitor consumables inventory and collaborate with Engineering/Planning to prevent stock-outs or excess waste.
  • Closely manage the inventory of consumables (e.g., chemicals, operating supplies) on the production floor.
  • Provide accurate usage feedback to the supply chain/planning team to improve forecasting accuracy and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Ensure all shift logs, production reports, maintenance requests, and compliance documents are accurately completed and maintained.
  • Report daily production status, bottlenecks, and equipment issues to the Production Manager.
