Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing competences within the Supply Management team
  • Ensure Strategic and operation management of Supply Management Team
  • Building and maintaining solid relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g. Planning, CRS, Product Management, Quality, Airbus Canada etc.)
  • Ensure deliveries of aftermarket parts in time, cost and quality
  • Priority order management throughout the supply chain
  • Monitor and improve suppliers' performance and launch appropriate corrective actions
  • Ensuring the operational achievement of agreed KPIs
  • Acting as 2nd or 3rd level escalation to the management team of the internal stakeholders or Suppliers
  • Actively contribute to continuous process improvement by identifying organizational deficiencies and proposing potential solutions for greater efficiency and adherence.
  • Inspire, manage and develop all direct reports
  • Ensure full departmental adherence to all compliance, export/import regulations, and customs requirements
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the Global Supply Management organisation, incl. efficiency campaigns

Requirements

  • A university degree in Aeronautics, Business Administration, or a related field is essential
  • An excellent command of both written and spoken English is mandatory.
  • Experience in people management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, written and verbally
  • Strong change management skills with a proven track record of successful execution
  • Capability in talent management, including balancing and aligning the diverse skill sets of team members.
  • Ability to mediate conflicts and arbitrate between differing stakeholder interests
  • Motivated by working with colleagues from different cultures and in different locations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast challenging environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and able to lead multi-cultural and globally located team
