Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate community/commuter engagement programs
  • Manage and implement community-focused initiatives across the organization
  • Raise awareness internally and externally about key community matters such as Go-To SMRT, Roadshows, Kindness Seats, and station festivities
  • Plan and execute community activities, preparing logistics and conducting on-ground recce with grassroots and Ops
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to initiatives such as enhancing station touchpoints
  • Support and manage community feedback by working closely with the Lead in handling feedback from MPs, Constituency Directors, their offices, and Grassroots
  • Channel SMRT-related feedback to Customer Relations for processing
  • Support marketing efforts by creating promotional materials to drive event awareness and community engagement

Requirements

  • BSc degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or relevant field
  • 1-2 years of experience in community relations, corporate communication and engagement or operations management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills for liaising with government agencies and/or community organisations
  • Ability to function at a high level in a team setting or as an individual contributor
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proven project management ability
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Resourceful and proactive
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom/Teams workshop style meeting
  • Strong public presentation skills (advantage)
