Key Responsibilities
- Design and conduct in vivo pharmacology studies to assess drug efficacy and safety.
- Develop and validate animal models for disease areas of interest.
- Analyze and interpret pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data.
- Prepare study reports, presentations, and contribute to regulatory submissions.
- Collaborate with medicinal chemistry, DMPK, and toxicology teams to optimize lead compounds.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and ensure compliance with GLP/GMP standards.
- Present findings at internal meetings and external conferences.
Requirements
- PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral or industry experience in preclinical pharmacology.
- Hands-on experience with rodent handling, dosing, and tissue collection.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel).
- Strong understanding of pharmacokinetic principles and bioanalytical methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA) is preferred.
