Key Responsibilities

  • Work with partners in the development of BIM Execution Plan and ensure Micron standards are incorporated.
  • Ensure BIM standards, process, etc, as defined in BIM Execution Plan are executed, maintained and updated throughout project lifecycle.
  • Manage and maintain model organization and folder structure within the Common Data Environment(CDE) as defined in BEP/Micron standards.
  • Supervise and assist with maintenance of project models; conduct quality control/health checks on federated models and associated trade models to ensure completeness, accuracy and adherence to the project's BIM Execution Plan throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage and assist model setup and maintenance by partners.
  • Participate in BIM coordination meetings to assist coordination and resolution of model issues and clashes.
  • Prioritise coordination efforts base on construction plans and changed conditions.
  • Generate clash numbers to monitor clash resolution progress and clash reports.
  • Ensure contractors use coordinated BIM models to prepare work sequence with subcons.
  • Assist pre-construction teams with constructability reviews.
  • Facilitate contractors to arrange review sessions of the coordinated BIM models with Micron operations team for space management inputs.
  • Perform regular QA/QC field walks to ensure field installations match coordinated models.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in Engineering related to AEC industry (Architectural, Engineering, Construction).
  • Passion for BIM and its' uses beyond design and construction.
  • Minimum 3 years BIM experience working in large scale manufacturing industry projects.
  • Semiconductor project experiences a plus.
  • Familiar, good knowledge and experience in reality capture or Scan to BIM technologies.
  • Familiar with BIM Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms.
  • Good understanding of BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Tekla, Archicad, Sketchup, etc.)
  • Have desires to learn and adopt AI ideas for BIM.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of dynamo, python, C# a plus but not essential.
  • International travel may be required.
