Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with local and global pharma/biotech partners.
  • Drive BD, licensing, and spinoff discussions in collaboration with A*Innovation & Enterprise and A*STAR Legal.
  • Manage due diligence processes with prospective partners, including virtual dataroom management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pharma/biotech business development, licensing, strategy consulting, venture, or related commercial roles.
  • Past exposure to deal processes (in-licensing, out-licensing, co-development, or strategic alliances).
  • Understanding of drug development pathways (preclinical to clinical), regulatory considerations, and IP strategy.
  • Ability to objectively assess projects by connecting scientific data to market opportunity.
  • Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
