Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and validate unmet clinical needs and translate them into viable project plans where clinical insights guide key user and design requirements.
  • Provide expertise in clinical trial design, management, resourcing, regulatory pathways, procurement processes, and integration into hospital workflows.
  • Engage clinical research organisations, clinicians, healthcare administrators, industry partners, and suppliers to accelerate translational success and adoption.
  • Contribute to national efforts in clinical innovation, capability development, and knowledge sharing across the healthcare ecosystem.
  • Ensure projects comply with clinical governance, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review clinical and translational evidence to support market access and adoption milestones and/or decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently with effective project planning and execution.

Requirements

  • PhD or Degree in a relevant field (medicine, biomedical sciences, engineering, pharmacy, or related).
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in clinical innovation, clinical operations, medical device trials and/or healthcare research.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical governance, ethics, regulatory frameworks, procurement processes, and hospital operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate clinical and scientific insights into product development and adoption strategies.
  • Track record in supporting clinical innovation and clinical trials for FDA Class II and Class III medical devices preferred.
  • Proven project management skills with experience managing diverse stakeholders and complex initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across clinical, industry, and policy stakeholders.
