Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-the-ground support for A*STAR SRL and SRIS laboratory operations, including coordinating laboratory access, supplies, consumables, and essential operational materials.

  • Act as a Procurement Advocate, guiding laboratory users on compliant and efficient purchasing processes.
  • Support licence subscriptions and management, including renewals and issuance.
  • Manage and track laboratory notebooks, including issuance and record-keeping.
  • Support compliance with institutional policies and operational procedures related to laboratory and general operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in laboratory operations, research support, facilities management, or general operations within a research or technical environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable with a practical, hands-on approach to work.
  • Good coordination and communication skills to work effectively with researchers, operations staff, and external vendors.
  • Comfortable managing routine tasks alongside ad hoc operational requests in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and willingness to support operational priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the role, including handling and lifting laboratory equipment and assets.
