Key Responsibilities
- Maintain SAP order release schedule, ensuring materials are available on-time for manufacturing and engineering.
- Perform pre-shortage analysis to increase component availability at the time of release and conduct work order variance analysis.
- Manage material affected by Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), ensuring proper disposition and preparing status reports for ECOs and ECRs.
- Participate in floor audits with Finance to resolve Work In Progress (WIP) issues and audit physical inventory.
- Analyze usage data and stock levels to accurately order parts, maintain inventory targets, and expedite shortages.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions from PCI reporting metrics and cycle counting activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise in planning disciplines (Production, Inventory, Process Control).
- Knowledge of best practices and how the planning area integrates with other business functions.
- Ability to solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Strong analytical skills to review MRP execution and reconcile supply/demand discrepancies.
- Experience managing material flow impacted by engineering changes (ECOs).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to build consensus among cross-functional teams.
