Key Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for system-level validation, failure analysis, characterization, and experimentation of customer systems
  • Run and configure diagnostic software, design experiments, analyze and interpret data, creating custom tools (Hardware and Software), presenting data to customers both inside and outside Micron
  • Provide technical customer integration support at customer locations. To accomplish these responsibilities, you will use a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Work with customers and memory enablers like GPU manufacturers to attain design wins and qualifications of Micron memory products in their applications
  • Work with other engineers within the HBM team, Product Engineering, FAE, Quality Assurance, and business unit teams
  • Debug Micron Product Customer Failures: Provide technical support to customers and the field sales; Utilize diagnostics to reproduce the original failure; Identify failure mechanism; Collaborate with Product Engineering and Return Material Authorization (RMA); Provide 8D or failure documentation for customer failure resolution; Implement fixes for fails (design or process)
  • Design and Implement Micron System Tools: Create test scripts for a variety of applications; Create and modify hardware that controls test parameters (i.e. temperature or voltage); Support internal customer diagnostics software and hardware tools within Micron labs; Interface with external customer to create intelligent DOE (design of experiments)
  • Perform System Characterization: Use software, Internal logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other tools to understand system memory usage; Develop software to interpret data; Collaborating with Product and Application Engineering; Communicating results with cross-functional teams and customers
