Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1/L2 production support for network infrastructure with high availability and uptime mandates.
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot VMware NSX (NSXT / NSXV) environments.
- Manage logical switching, routing, DFW, Edge services, NAT, and load balancing in NSX.
- Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN networks including VLANs, TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, DHCP.
- Work with routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, static routing.
- Support and troubleshoot firewall technologies (physical and virtual).
- Work with load balancers such as F5, AVI (NSX ALB), or equivalent.
- Support network performance tuning, capacity planning, and monitoring.
- Handle incidents, problems, and change management following ITIL practices.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Support 24x7 operations as part of an On-Call or shift-based support model.
- Coordinate with application, system, security, and operations teams during incidents and outages.
