Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure OSAT quality performance meets Qorvo's outgoing product quality requirements, protecting customer and company revenue from quality risks.

  • Manage and approve all supplier and OSAT changes, ensuring minimal impact on production and quality.

  • Initiate, organize, and lead cross-functional task forces for both short-term problem-solving and long-term continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and OSATs to implement corrective actions and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Investigate customer quality complaints and RMAs, driving 8D corrective and preventive actions to address root causes.
  • Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Quality) required.
  • >10 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry is required.
  • Proven focus on supplier quality management, process engineering, or quality assurance within the industry.
  • Demonstrated track record managing complex supplier quality programs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of international quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) is essential.
  • Practical familiarity with quality tools including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA, and 8D problem solving.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are mandatory for cross-functional interaction.
