Key Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for moderately complex assemblies with management supervision.
- Develops and validates Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for moderately complex assemblies.
- Provides feedback during design reviews regarding DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency to meet cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
- Executes change control processes including NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, and ESWs in partnership with Sr NPMEs.
- Documents product issues/enhancement opportunities and assists in root cause analysis.
- Leads the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules.
- Provides technical support and training to manufacturing resources, including piece part suppliers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated conceptual knowledge in engineering discipline.
- Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using judgment and experience.
- Understanding of key business drivers related to manufacturing.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly to others.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
- Ability to work in various physical conditions, including standing for extended periods, tight spaces, and noise.
- Potential requirement to work off-shift hours due to time zone differences.
