Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that key supply chain metrics are met for all NPT programs
- Provide visibility on critical supply continuity challenges by creating and maintaining heat maps and defining mitigation strategies to best meet current and forecasted demand
- Devise plans to overcome material shortages by executing strategic buys/overplans
- Analyze process maps for critical/complex long lead components; collaborates to implement mitigation strategies
- Drive end-to-end lead time reduction and mitigation strategies for needle mover NPI programs
- Tactical proficiency with Applied applications including, but not limited to SAP, SCV, Teamcenter etc
- Drive material readiness actions based on Blue-sky and baseline demand signals, including strategic buys to support ELS and revenue builds
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure BOM accuracy
- Collaborate with NPI team to set program development/transition deliverables and provide status on completions prior to phase 5 exit
- Execute supply strategies to meet demand changes through S&OP cycle
- Timely disposition of parts to actively manage the program inventory
- Conducts supplier shortages meetings to ensure accurate delivery commits for manufacturing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business with emphasis on Supply Chain preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience
- MBA is a plus
- Demonstrates depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Leads functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
- Manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources
