Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain all methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Coordinate with other engineering functions to release product improvements and new products, managing manufacturing engineering projects as needed.
- Lead teams in applying Design for Excellence (DFx) principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing/product costs and improve product quality.
- Determine time standards and recommend tooling and process requirements.
- Develop and utilize test procedures, evaluate test results, and assess work methods, procedures, and policies.
- Determine root causes and corrective actions for assembly or system testing issues; perform Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and provide reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4-7 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated conceptual knowledge and technical experience for everyday problem-solving on the job
