Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end ATE test development, including test hardware development, DFT, software development, and continuous optimization
- Develop, debug, and maintain test programs on ATE platforms such as DMDX, ETS88 (LTX-ac experience is a strong plus)
- Define and optimize test coverage, test time to meet quality and cost targets
- Drive NPI to HVM test readiness, including qualification, correlation, and release decisions
- Serve as a technical escalation point for yield loss, test escapes, and system‑level failures
- Perform deep root cause analysis across tester, handler, probe card, and device interactions
- Lead yield improvement, test time reduction, and capacity optimization initiatives in HVM
- Work closely with OSATs and internal manufacturing teams to ensure stable high‑volume production
- Debug and support test hardware including probe cards, sockets, load boards, and handler interfaces
- Utilize lab instrumentation such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, and RF equipment for advanced debugging
- Collaborate with Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Process teams to resolve product‑wide issues
- Review product specifications and provide test‑manufacturability feedback
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines with 8+ years of hands‑on experience in semiconductor test development or product/test engineering
- Strong experience with ATE test execution, development, and debugging
- Solid understanding of RF / mixed‑signal / PMIC test fundamentals
- Proficiency in programming or scripting (C/C++, Python, Perl, VBA preferred)
- Experience working in Windows and Linux environments
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Experience supporting High Volume Manufacturing (HVM)
- Knowledge of PCB / load board / probe card design, including tools like Altium or Cadence
- Familiarity with process control, statistical analysis, and manufacturing data monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to lead technically complex projects and influence stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience working with geographically distributed or global engineering teams
