Key Responsibilities
- Generate production plan and execution strategy to meet Output plan, On Time Delivery (OTD) to customer, Cycle Time and Day Of Inventory (DIO) metrics
- Analyze the progress of daily production operations and collaborate with cross functional team to resolve any issues impacting delivery schedule to customers
- Create and implement integrated systems for carrying out materials flow, production processes, inventory control and human work factors
- Drive continuous improvement to achieve Best In Class performance on Cycle Time and Delivery
- Serve as Manufacturing primary point of contact for In-line Planning and Production Control related activities
- Forecast production logistics, direct and indirect materials to ensure production readiness to meet weekly output plan
- Review current resource inventory levels is sufficient to meet fluctuations in supply requirements
- Review bottleneck areas, constraints on existing and new processes or work procedures with support groups
- Ensure a Safe Work Environment. Perform work area inspections to identify, anticipate and promptly correct safety hazards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required
- Must be able and willing to work on non-standard working hours (e.g. compressed, 12-hour night shifts)
- Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels
- Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning
- Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable
- Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred
