Key Responsibilities
- Lead scenario studies across BP horizons, owning scenario baselines and change control to align with the goals of the company
- Conduct Fab Scenario Optimization with detailed comparisons across various options, including cost, capital, ramp adaptability, inventory strategy, and market share/bit growth
- Align product roadmap to business requirements while adapting to BP changes and calendar commitments
- Coordinate parameter updates with all collaborators, ensuring monthly scenario studies are carefully analyzed and communicated
- Handle complex projects across departments and sites, driving structured onboarding and continuous improvement
- Facilitate a Lean Manufacturing culture from development through ramp and HVM, aiming to streamline workflows and eliminate manual errors
- Communicate effectively with executives, sponsors, and cross-functional teams to present insights that enable decision-making
- Deliver clear, qualitative, and quantitative analyses such as P&L, return on investment/payback, and NPV to support financial decisions
- Build automation for recurring tasks and dashboards using Python, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools
- Apply planning systems within Micron and use advanced features of Microsoft Office for modeling, reporting, and crafting executive materials
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production/Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis, and problem solving; hands-on with scenario/comparison methodologies
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of area tool configurations, capabilities, and basic process/mechanical functionality
- Advanced understanding of Manufacturing Science (scheduling, inventory management, overseeing production capabilities)
- Demonstrated experience with SNOP process and business plan management
- Excellent verbal/written communication; strong PC skills and data collection/database management; executive-ready presentation abilities
- Proven collaboration and multi-tasking capability; self-motivated and effective with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate freely and communicate openly with colleagues and management at all levels
