Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of technical officers to carry out and/or supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works on SMRT power system
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedule and staff duty rosters in consultation with EMM
  • Provide technical advice, information and instructions to other staff
  • Ensure all drawings, diagrams, manuals and records are kept current and updated
  • Assist EMM in conducting engineering and safety analysis, investigations, and tests
  • Carry out and/or assist EMM supervision of corrective maintenance, upgrading, modification work and major repair work
  • Prepare and submit reports on completion of work
  • Obtain COA and perform operation of electrical equipment
  • Attend Permit-to-work for all internal and external work parties
  • Conduct home-based safety talk and compile monthly O/T report

Requirements

  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance and trouble shooting of electrical equipment
  • Able to do shift work
  • Able to lead by example
  • Able to communicate effectively and work in and as a team
