Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the new construction project planning process
Establish project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with user requirements
Prepare new project Space, Cost & schedule report & long-term plan reports for management review
Develop and manage initial project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery
Ensure Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities are fully understood by the project team members
Collect, classify, and evaluate data and information used in supporting the Micron new construction project planning evaluation request
Manage and support Micron construction projects from inception to closeout, including project scoping, pre-planning, design, client/contractor/vendor coordination, construction administration, budget management, and project closeout
Manage and improve the new project planning business process
Gather, analyze, and benchmark Micron's current manufacturing sites & construction projects, and provide accurate & timely information to the project team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from a recognised institute of higher learning
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management
Experience in Project Program management / Planning / Schedule Control is highly valued
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, Construction Project management software, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Good analytical skills with problem solving aptitude
Ability to integrate, work collaboratively and proactively in a team environment
Able to complete projects in a timely manner
Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, like Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEED certification
3 years’ experience in large-scale construction projects, preferably in Semiconductor Fab construction or related Facilities construction in high tech/Pharmaceutical/Oil & Gas industries
Demonstrable experience in the Construction or Semiconductor Project Management and/or other relevant industries is strongly preferred
Strong financial understanding and experience in project cost estimate/budgeting/cost control
Proven track record of successful project delivery
Knowledge of local construction regulations, permits and approval processes will be highly valued
Strong organization, coordination, and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate stakeholders from different departments and background
Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and proactively in a team environment
Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them clearly to others
