  • Digital Division’s IT Group (ITG) supports the IT needs for DSO’s enterprise and R&D functions. ITG oversees the development and operations of core IT infrastructure, enterprise networks, and enterprise applications.
  • Be part of the Network Infrastructure team to ensure that DSO enterprise IT networks and systems are developed and deployed in an efficient and robust manner towards a high level of maintainability, reliability and availability
  • Provide technical expertise to support new projects to deploy them to the network infrastructure
  • Maintain IT networks and system performance and availability that is balanced with the security requirements
  • Manage vendors in the development and deployment of IT network systems

Requirements

  • Knowledge in structured cabling, industry standards such as ANSI/TIA
  • Knowledge in network design and architecture involving LAN/WAN, VPN and wireless solutions
  • Knowledge in network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless access points and controllers
  • Knowledge of network security technologies including IPS, VPNs, firewalls and access control measures
  • Understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
  • Relevant experience in PowerShell / other scripting languages, automation tools like Ansible
  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines
  • Preferred 2 or more years of relevant IT experience in deploying and supporting complex IT infrastructure systems and services
  • Good fundamental knowledge and technical hands-on experience in IT infrastructure technology and architecture, including networking devices such as firewall, VPN, IPS, switch, router, DHCP
  • Working experience on IT Security (e.g. OS/System hardening, vulnerability remediation)
  • Experience in deploying and operating system for complex IT infrastructure, project/contract/vendor management
  • Good written and verbal communication and ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audience and senior management
  • Strong interpersonal skills, customer orientation, team interaction/effectiveness, proactive, analytical and decision-making skills
