Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction for the project, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and integration with existing distribution centers
- Oversee the phased ramp-up of operations across the new multi-site network warehouse, ensuring they reach full operational capacity efficiently
- Lead the project team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Start with digitally enabled network hubs; ensuring the processes and 3PL providers are fully integrated with Resmed’s digital supply chain network
- Oversee the project budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and financial accountability
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure project success
- Monitor project performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project goals are met
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, risks, and issues
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in distribution centre and/or manufacturing project management and operations, in particular relocation and commissioning of warehousing projects, ideally warehouses supporting manufacturing operations
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial and budget management skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and cross-border trade compliance issues
