Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the STDR programme, including plans for ecosystem development
  • Provide oversight and management to the programme, including implementing changes and interventions, to ensure goals are achieved
  • Organise and participate in the review, selection and grants administration process of the programme
  • Coordinate and prepare accurate and timely reports of the programme to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage multi-institutional research projects and act as a liaison between the research teams and stakeholders
  • Conduct active project management to monitor and track the progress, timeline, and budget of projects; including supporting translation/commercialisation efforts and assisting to resolve issues and challenges related to the projects
  • Organise and coordinate training events such as symposia, workshops, seminars, and industry engagement sessions
  • Perform any other relevant secretariat and related duties as required

Requirements

  • Degree or postgraduate degree in the Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field
  • 2 years of working experience in the Biomedical, Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or Biotech industry, or in a science-business role
  • Knowledge and understanding of the drug discovery and development process, alternative drug modalities, and R&D ecosystem would be a plus
  • Prior experience in grant administration and/or strategy will be advantageous
  • Strong organisational, planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Independent and a strong team player
  • Ability to thrive in complex situations involving multiple stakeholders across functional groups and levels
