Key Responsibilities
- Support cost management functions and pre and post contract administration of contracts for Changi East
- Involved in budgeting & cost estimating, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation reports, progress payments, assessment of change/variation requests and claims related to the project
- Work closely with Project Officers, consultants including designers and quantity surveyors on cost estimates
- Provide support in the construction funding process
- Provide Project Officers with contractual support to resolve issues with partners and stakeholders such as consultants and contractors
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Building or related disciplines
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in managing contracts of electrical and mechanical systems for buildings or specialised airport systems
- Experience in automated people mover systems, baggage handling systems and/or IT systems will be advantageous
- Excellent understanding of good procurement strategies and practices
- Previous experience in MOF DPC Gateway Process and management of reviewing consultants' works will be an added advantage
- Proficient in MS Office Applications
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-task effectively and a good team player
- This is a 3-year contract position
