Key Responsibilities
- Collect, classify, evaluate layout and space management data/concepts and information used in new construction projects from ideas, concept design, detail design to actual construction.
- Collect, classify and evaluate Micron all sites' layout and space management data to generate benchmark & reference for future Micron Construction Project.
- Create reports, benchmarking tools and eventual monitoring system for matters related to layout and space management.
- Work closely with Teams from Global and Site Facilities, Global Planning, Facilities Transfer Team, CPEE & IEs to coordinate and drive optimum layout, efficient space management & BOC facilities design for Micron Construction.
- Coordinate and manage interface meetings with respective stakeholders on end users' requirements for new projects and ensuring that their requirements are incorporated into the design during concept/ detailed design phase.
- Ensure Roles, Responsibilities and Accountabilities are fully understood by the participated teams
Requirements
- The candidate should possess a BSc or Beng in Engineering from a recognized institute of higher learning.
- Experience in wafer fab facilities systems is thus highly valued.
- Candidates with experience in facilities layout planning & construction.
- Minimum 3 years of Facility planning experience in Semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Good analytical skills with problem solving aptitude.
- Skills in excel and simple code writing desired.
- Ability to integrate and work in a global multicultural team.
- Great leadership, interpersonal skills and team building spirit.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Candidates with experience in Fab or facilities layout planning and construction.
- Demonstrate experience in the Facility Design, layout and space management optimization and/or other relevant skillset is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
- Outstanding organization, coordination and leadership skills – ability to coordinate and motivate TMs from multiple sites and different background.
- Ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively in a team environment.
- Moderate skill in excel and simple code writing desired.
- Effective delegation skills.
