Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Technical Officers to carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on the monorail system
  • Perform fault attendance, fault diagnosis tests, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications to the system
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems such as Monorail Train, 22kV, 750Vdc, 415Vac switchgear, HV transformers, Traction Rectifiers and Inverters, battery chargers, battery banks, UPS System, Cables & 750V Traction Power contact line system
  • Comply with relevant procedures and safety requirements when carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with Quality objectives as stated in QP, WIs, SWP, RAs, Task lists & checklists in daily activities
  • Ensure spares, tools, and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary
  • Operate ground support equipment and tools safely in accordance with general handling practices
  • Drive company vehicles for the purpose of work as assigned by supervisors
  • Operate company forklift as assigned by supervisors
  • Adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve productivity and value of work performed

Requirements

  • Recognized Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering
  • At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in railway maintenance workshop
  • Ability to manage and lead a team of Technical Officers working toward the department’s objectives
  • Ability to work independently and with all levels of staff
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and result-oriented
