Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Trains Billing Hub
- Ensure timely and accurate billing from receipt of order to receipt of payments
- Process manpower project claims from LTA reimbursements, grants, and recoveries
- Ensure timely processing and reporting of accruals and revenue forecasts for projects
- Prepare Annual Budget Template for dissemination to project teams
- Advise project teams and internal users on SMRT’s internal processes, reimbursement, and claim matters
- Participate in KAIZEN efforts: identifying issues, developing plans, and implementing changes
- Perform data entry and maintain organized billing files in the Company’s archiving systems
- Participate in ad hoc assignments as assigned by the Team Head or Department Head
Requirements
- Nitec or Diploma in any discipline
- Experience in Administration, Billing, Operations, or Project Management
- Experience in the Rail or Transport Industry is advantageous
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to multi-task and independently handle multiple issues concurrently
- Comfortable liaising with diverse groups including technical, frontline, and management staff
- Experience liaising with LTA or other government agencies
- Experience dealing with external contractors or clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word)
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables and formulas such as VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP
- Familiarity with Office 365 apps such as SharePoint List, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Forms, and Power BI is an advantage
