Key Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels and replenish according to lead time and usage trends

Coordinate with Procurement on weekly cadences to review priorities, shortages, and delivery risks
Evaluate RFQs/tenders for stock items via Ariba, perform price benchmarking and lead-time assessment
Drive cost-saving initiatives by evaluating aftermarket vs OE parts with Engineering
Bring in parts to support projects, heavy maintenance (TM/engine overhauls), and CSW requirements
Ensure contract terms and pricing are correctly reflected in SAP and adhered to in purchasing
Comply with procurement governance, audit requirements, and internal controls
Track supplier OTD (on-time delivery), lead times, and responsiveness; escalate risks early

Requirements

Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant studies
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
SAP PM module experience preferred
Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related
3–5 years in material planning or procurement in automotive/bus/rail/heavy equipment (Senior: 5–8+ years)
Hands-on with SAP (MM/Materials) and Ariba (or equivalent e-procurement platforms)
Strong Excel; Power BI or analytics exposure is a plus
Familiarity with bus systems/components (e.g., traction motor, engine, driveline, braking, electrical) is advantageous
Proven stakeholder management with Engineering, Maintenance, Depots, and Procurement
Governance/audit experience in public transport or regulated environments is a plus
