Key Responsibilities
- Obtain and file accounting-related documents in a timely manner and suggest improvements to data collection processes.
- Key data into the accounting system and maintain general ledger accounts for clients.
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayment entries, and other manual journal entries while reconciling accounts monthly.
- Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly invoicing for Accounts Receivable.
- Manage payment processing and monitoring of payables.
- Compile and provide financial or transactional information/data as required.
- Be seconded to client offices to assist with the accounting process when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or comparable professional qualification.
- 1 to 2 years or more of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles including GAAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including extensive Excel knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter, highly organized, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and hands-on.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment on multiple projects.
