Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and operating procedures ensuring compliance with all regulatory and GF Worldwide EHS Standards across the Asia Pacific Region.
  • Lead and develop a team of Safety Engineers and EHSS experts to promote safety awareness and drive best-in-class safety programs.
  • Develop section goals, priorities, performance metrics, and manage the section budget for the Safety Section.
  • Oversee all safety projects, ensuring timely and quality execution while maintaining company EHS policies.
  • Lead initiatives to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations related to safety, including MOM, SCDF, and NEA compliance.
  • Advise on and manage Emergency Response protocols and readiness for the site operations.
  • Design and implement EHS training programs tailored for employees and contractors.
  • Coordinate and lead safety audits to maintain compliance with standards such as ISO45001 and SS651.
  • Analyze safety data trends to develop actionable plans for continuous improvement in safety performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or equivalent applicable field.
  • Minimum 10–15 years of senior EHS management experience in a multinational, semiconductor, or related industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, MOM, OSHA, SEMI, FM Global standards, and Responsible Business Alliance principles.
  • Proven ability to design and execute robust Safety strategies in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading audits, securing regulatory permits, and ensuring site compliance.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
