Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery and sales activities for Japanese companies in Southeast Asia, specializing in finance and accounting transformation.
- Manage projects as a project manager in mixed local teams, leveraging personal expertise to support client acquisition.
- Lead project management and project activities in accounting and management control using digital tools.
- Deeply understand the functions and value of digital tools from a user perspective, and facilitate smooth requirements definition with users and coordination with development members.
- Lead sales and proposal activities for solutions using digital tools, and mentor and coach team members.
- Lead alliance activities with tool vendors, including client conferences and sales tool development.
- Drive the restructuring of operating models across Southeast Asia, including shared services, outsourcing, and regional headquarters design.
- Promote digital finance initiatives, including end-to-end process optimization and automation tool requirements definition.
- Support the implementation and replacement of accounting systems (standalone, consolidation, planning, performance management).
Requirements
- Experience working in a consulting firm on topics related to finance transformation, digital finance, or operational efficiency.
- Proven track record of contributing to securing projects through proposal activities.
- Experience in leading projects.
- Native level Japanese and business level English, or native level English and business level Japanese.
- Southeast Asia related consulting experience.
- Experience using multiple applications on platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate or Google Cloud.
- Experience in Generative AI, particularly in text and image generation.
- Knowledge in finance and accounting, or digital technologies.
