Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop a team of Safety Engineers and EHSS experts to promote Safety awareness.
- Strategically drive best-in-class Safety programs to reduce risk and prevent severe injuries.
- Develop section goals, priorities, performance metrics, and manage the section budget.
- Oversee all projects under the Safety Section, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Ensure compliance with company EHS policies and global Safety standards.
- Lead initiatives to ensure adherence to laws and regulations related to Safety.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement in identifying and resolving employee Safety concerns.
- Resolve vendor and service provider issues tied to performance, billing, or technical quality.
- Determine section needs and select professional services, equipment, and materials.
- Advise and manage Emergency Response protocols and readiness.
- Design and implement EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or equivalent applicable field.
- Minimum 10–15 years of senior EHS management experience in a multinational, semiconductor, or related industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, MOM, OSHA, SEMI, FM Global standards, and Responsible Business Alliance principles.
- Lead Auditor certification in ISO 14001, ISO 18001/45001 is advantageous.
- Proven ability to design and execute Safety strategies in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading audits, securing regulatory permits, and ensuring site compliance.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (less than 10%).
