Key Responsibilities
- Assessing potential partners' capabilities and relevance that will advance RTO's work to enable data analytics for the RIE ecosystem.
- Developing and managing strategic partnerships as well as key partnership accounts with external stakeholders (e.g. public sector entities, private companies and international institutions).
- Oversee and project manage key multi-party collaborative initiatives, ensuring agreed deliverables is achieved for all parties.
- Identifying, cultivating and managing new partnerships with public research organisations, public and private sectors. This involves researching potential partners, assessing alignment with RIE priorities, domain partners' priorities, TRUST's framework and developing partnership strategies that create mutual value.
- Overseeing and prioritising inter-team and external-facing partnerships, working collaboratively with RTO implementation teams to ensure successful partnership outcomes.
- Working closely with Contracts team in the process of stakeholder engagements to ensure proposed partnership arrangements are legally feasible and structured in accordance to TRUST Framework.
- Working alongside Comms team in planning and executing engagement activities such as conferences, workshops and networking events, that strengthen partnerships and advance shared objectives.
- Providing secretariat support for RTO-related meetings e.g. cross teams and steering committee.
Requirements
- Minimum BSc in sciences, data, business, marketing or related discipline; and preferably at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in R&D/business development/partnership management/science/data
- Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all organisational levels
- Excellent project management capabilities and negotiation skills with experience coordinating complex initiatives involving multiple parties
- Strategic thinker, ability to multi-task, proven problem-solving skills and resourceful individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Versatile in working independently as well as an effective team player
- Candidates with work experience on any of the following areas will be considered favourably: Prior experience working in data-related partnerships management and business development in the public research ecosystem; Knowledge of basic contract law and agreement structures is advantageous.
