Key Responsibilities
- Act as process owner and implement process improvement projects to achieve the best possible process cost per wafer, equipment reliability, wafer fab yield and throughput parameters.
- Maintain and support day to day manufacturing activities through real-time problem analysis and timely implementation of effective solutions.
- Manage new equipment qualification and liaise with maintenance until the tool is released to production.
- Plan, organize and provide technical support and expertise on assigned tools to Assistant Shift Process Engineers and Technicians.
- Provide training to Shift Engineers, Technicians to strengthen troubleshooting capability and equipment knowledge.
- Implementation and review FDC/APC setups for manufacturing tools.
- Translates the requirements of Production and IE needs to achieve the overall committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters.
- Participate in cost reduction projects to improve cost efficiency.
- Review equipment downtime pareto reports and perform analysis analyzing on chronic or recurring issues.
Requirements
- Degree in Material Science/Electrical/Electronics/Microelectronics/Physics/Chemistry or a related discipline.
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Wet Equipment / processes is an advantage.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
- Good knowledge of statistical tools, problem solving tools, FMEA and 8D.
