Key Responsibilities

  • Working independently on equipment maintenance on reliability & robustness improvement, maintenance cost saving projects, wafer/process yield quality and throughput parameters.
  • Provide technical support and expertise on specific tools (TEL Alpha / VTR7000 / ASM / Kokusai) to AME and Line Support Staffs.
  • Translate Engineering needs into preventive maintenance tasks and work closely with them to achieve the committed targets in all aspects of manufacturing parameters.
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment with equipment vendors.
  • To sustain the equipment optimal performance at defined KPI complying safety requirements.
  • Work with Production and Engineering teams in prioritizing and solving problems affecting production targets and wafer quality.
  • Cross Functional Support with Quality, Production and other Module to achieve common goal in terms of quality, service and cost.
  • Work with IE & Central Support group in equipment installation/relocation and OEE improvement projects.
  • Working with Facilities in resolving facilities-related problems.
  • With Purchasing, Store, Material Planner for all spare parts related issues.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics & Electrical.
  • Experience in 8" Diffusion furnaces (TEL Alpha / VTR7000 / ASM / Kokusai) maintenance & troubleshooting.
  • Technical competency & knowledge required to troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematic.
  • Ability to engage in team discussion for equipment issues.
  • The incumbent must be working in current position for at least 2-3 years.
  • Quality Knowledge - Implement Best Known Method (BKM) with vendor / benchmarking.
  • Good to have experience in designing and developing solutions sensors via micro-controllers (eg. STM32) / Raspberry Pi computers as part of FDC (Fault Detection Control).
  • Knowledge and Experience in FMEA, 8D tools and SPC concept to collaborate with process owner on recovery / improvements.
